PREREQUISITE: Intro to Musical Improv

From bombastic opening numbers to a classic saccharine love duet, most Broadway musicals hit a predictable set of song archetypes. Bringing these archetypes into our long form play both helps us parody the genre and makes it easier to unfold a clear narrative with rich characters. Nate will introduce you to these archetypes or sharpen your existing understanding of what they are. With active side coaching, we’ll focus on making scenes a focused runway into our villain songs and dance-focused variety numbers. It will be a whole lot of fun!

Masks are not required, but they are always welcome.
